Tender and Contract Specialist


The Tender and Contract Specialist is responsible for preparation and administration of public tenders connected to the company’s Surgical Business and for the administration and coordination of customer contracts for both Vision Care and Surgical Busines Units at Alcon.


    • Monitoring of upcoming public tenders / sales opportunities
    • Preparation and submission of required documentation connected to public tenders
    • Regular follow up of changes in tender legislation
    • Liaise with the sales divisions and notify them of tenders.
    • Maintain contacts with the customers in relation to tenders, contracts and other business offers.
    • Cooperate with approved legal counsel; participate in and support local regulatory projects.
    • Cooperate with other departments and personnel/offices as per internal policies/procedures and legal requirements.
    • Preparation, coordination and follow-up of general customer contracts according to company policy
    • Follow-up and implementation of the changes in the contracts
    • Coordination of signatures and documenting contracts in appropriate systems and databases
    • Tracking and managing the validity of contracts and tenders
    • Reporting and feedback



    • Knowledge (both theoretical and practical) of public procurement and administrative law
    • Knowledge of tendering requirements (both theoretical and practical) in the healthcare system
    • At least 3-year experience in similar position
    • Good command of Hungarian and English language, spoken and written
    • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel.
    • Good communication skills
    • Result and quality oriented midset
    • High level of punctuality and attention to details


    • Public procurement course (OKJ 52 343 01) will be a significant advantage.
